Relieving Neck Pain (self treat) try SWIMMING therapy

Started with a pain over neck and difficulty in rotating to the left. I guess it started after having intense workout lately,as I did not had a proper stretching before and after my workout.
It worsen on a particular day after having my lunch. 
I had like rashes all over my body and my head hurts so badly and i feel like vomiting (nausea).
The pain when i rotate my head !
So I did acupuncture and took my Chinese medicine (九味羌活汤)
That very night, it was Badminton Men Single's Final ! I had to watch !! LCW!
So I was lying on my lazy chair while resting my head on a fix position.
a MUST WATCH MATCH !!
Thank Goodness, I manage to survive throughout the night. 
And that very night because I got too excited and feeling sad for LCW, I couldn't really sleep. Yet, I have to work the next day and I know I have to sleep immediately or else my neck will get worse. So I did a TENDER POINT MASSAGE before bed. And indeed I had a sweet sleep <3 
so this is the spot where i place my back against my dumbbell and lie hardly on it to trigger it.By putting pressure onto it, you will feel the pain radiates over the neck towards the head! Its painful but its worth the pain! 
And YES ! I woke up feeling okay and went to work ! 
So, I rest a day at home after work. No workout for that night =( ~ 

Oh ya, my friend did cupping for me few days ago! Yet, we knew it wasn't enough cause the muscle injury was deep and my muscle was so tense even after cupping


The very next day I knew I need to do something with this mild pain that is still lingering, so I had to think of ways to relieve it. p/s: that's the sad part of being a practitioner, it is impossible to poke your own back, and its always busy time during work :( . I know it needed a few session of acupuncture with basic stretching to get rid of it. But it's ok ... let's see what alternative could do!

So, I went for SWIMMING the next day! And that very day ~ it was amazing that I felt the lightness after swimming, so I called it swimming therapy. Did a slow long stroke of freestyle and breaststroke and rest on the pool for half an hour.

Actually, I don't really know much about swimming therapy. It's just what we used to tell people to do when they suffer from a backache. But it was my very first time seeing how it works on me. So, I did a little reading on it~ and I've found so many about aquatic therapy, must really learn them ! <3   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-FXBUuOu1Q

I always like swimming as it has always been a good stress reliever. As far as the physical, for those who may not favor or tolerate with high impact sports, swimming is a great alternative. Additionally, in times of injury swimming is a great way to stay in shape while avoiding high impact sports.

Injury of my muscles:
Superficial : Lower Trapezius
Deep region : Levator Scapulae, semispinalis, Infraspinatus

goodbye DEPRESSION

Yes, I would like to start blogging again.
And the very first thing I do is to delete all my posts.
Because dark past are not what we need to keep us lingering,
But the future is what we want to uptake.

I've change my life from being all pessimistic to who I want to be by just CHANGING THE MIND.
Depression. The worst condition you can imagine.
Its like a demon eating up all your strength.
It's genetic and so it's how you gotta live with it.
Those were the days I used to be.

Overcoming my depression:
1) It's okay being narcissist. I've read articles saying its a mental illness posting selfies or pictures that brag yourself on social medias like Facebook, Instagram. So what, if you just need a little attention from the world?  As a Chinese Physician, I handle patients, and the worst sickness to solve comes when it's related to psychological illness. People gets sick, and if they keep thinking that they have problem with themselves, it's pretty hard to get out of it. Browsing through Facebook, I found cancer survivor, Jen who inspired more people out there with her positivism and bravery. She update her progression before, during and after her cancer life. Actually, I am not exactly a supporter on chemotherapy as it actually does more harm than help, and it's not actually the best resort for cancer. (More studies should be done on such treatment). Anyway, I'm pretty sure her MENTALITY is what what SAVE her!!!  I followed her because she teaches the people who watches her, she teaches people to love themselves and that's what I taught my patients too- to TAKE A SELFIE and look at yourself everyday and tell yourself how great you've been improving. Because that's MY LIFE!

2) Do what you enjoy doing and FIND THE STAGE THAT YOU WANT TO STAND HIGH. I hear it a lot from quotes, books, inspirational people... Yet, I often felt confused of what I really like, often is frustrating, people who writes well became famous blogger, people who are active gets into a specific sport games etc; as for me, i just couldn't settle down, will I not achieve anything if I am not focus?. (I believe I'm not alone feeling it) but it's okay ! as time passes I've realize its actually my kind of STAGE OF LIFE. Unlike ordinary stage of life, where you go to school, go to work, get married , have kids..... I left home 7 years ago, it was miracle as my dad has always been a really strict man, he always wanted me to have an ordinary life get married like all girls in those days, but I was always rebellious. So, it became that FREEDOM was my stage, which I got through by my taking the first step went travelling! and yes i enjoy it so much! Now, working is really tough when you have a weird boss, so again I seek my stage, I got into FITNESS recently, and it really just changes my life so much!So, what's your stages of life?

To say in words, it's pretty simple !
CHANGE THE MIND! You know if many people could think that way, medical limitations

And my friends always tells me to get companion in life, maybe start searching for my man? Do we always need companion? What if we don't ? Do we get better when there's companion ? ?? --
